Burlap Shower Curtain

I have a new love and his name is burlap. I keep dreaming up ways to use it. (More posts on that to come) The latest thing I did with it was to make a huge ruffle on the bottom of the fabric that goes over my shower curtain off to the side in the bathroom. Confused yet? :) It looks like this:

I’m not sure if I want to swag it back with a tie-back or not. I’m going to let it hang there and just see what happens.

By the way, the floral upholstery fabric was $4.97/yard on clearance at Hometown Crafts {Kerrville’s redneck version of Hobby Lobby} and you can get burlap for $2/yard at Wal-Mart. So I think the whole thing cost me about $12.

Does anyone else love burlap like I do? :)

Thanks, Jen! And seriously, if you send me the fabric, I will make you the shower curtain! I would love to do that!
