{He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge. Psalm 91:4.}

I’m Kat. I am a wife, mama, sister, friend, beloved of God. I’m so glad you’re here!
I love Jesus but He first loved me. In Him, we live and move and have our being. More and more, I absolutely love participating with Him in setting people free from the lies of do-do Christianity and setting them into the wide open spaces of Himself. I love the shaking off of old, lying, yucky feathers. The “real life” tab on the blog explains a little more about this.
Hubby and I have two little girls {Little Bit and Baby Sister}. We live kind of in the country, kind of in a small town. And we’re Aggies. Gig ‘em! We have a big garden. And dumb chickens.
I love redoing our home constantly, rearranging, shaking things up. Hubby doesn’t even bat an eye when he comes in to the furniture moved AGAIN. I just love home-making, in general. Not laundry or cooking or cleaning {though that is part of it} – I mean I love making our home a place where there is peace felt and love shared, where Grace is free to roam about. Now don’t be alarmed – I am not Martha Stewart by any stretch of the imagination. And that’s okay.
I dabble in copycat crafting. You know, when you see something uber-cool and try to replicate it. Therefore, I am slightly addicted to Pinterest. But honestly most of the time, I just like collecting ideas with only an occasional project completed. And that’s okay.
I love to have a garden. Working in the garden, weeding, fertilizing – well, that’s a different story. But it’s growing on me. I have my green-thumb moments and the times I kill things just by looking at them. And that’s okay, too.
On a random note, we’ve been transitioning into a raw food lifestyle for about 2 years now. We’re about 50% right now and holding steady. I love raw food recipes that are easy and yummy. But I also love Mexican food and a good homemade pizza. So don’t think I’m some sort of crazed health-nut. Only 50% of the time. :)
Refeathered is a place to relax, chat about what’s been going on lately, encourage one another, and share real, authentic Jesus-life. With the occasional random story or mantel decorating or gardening lesson thrown in.
I would love to hear from you! E-mail me at belovedone100@gmail.com anytime. Or use the contact form under the Contact tab. It is easier. Just sayin’.
Loved reading all about you. I feel like I know you so well now! ;)
